  • Beskrivelse: Liakos, a sly country bumpkin, works at a garage in Athens, where he rubs shoulders with the cream of high society. He meets a Greek pop music star, Julia Mara, which leads to him being fired. He goes to the nightclub where Julia is singing and begs her to help him. He manages to rid her of a bothersome admirer, Bontaloglou, and she then hires Liakos as a chauffeur and bodyguard. Liakos, seeing Bontaloglou naively showering the singer with gifts, pushes the singer’s look-alike, Miranta Chatzithoma, into his arms. When Julia accepts Bontaloglou’s father’s proposal to sing at his nightclub, Miltos, the owner of the club where Julia currently performs, reacts angrily by sending two of his bouncers to kidnap Julia. The two toughs make one gross blunder after another, even bringing Liakos to the stage, where he pretends to be a bouzouki player. In the end, Liakos marries Julia.
